Sarkar Raj: A Family Wasted

June 10th, 2008

Sarkar Raj is a disappointment. I, like everybody else in India, was eagerly waiting to watch the three Bachachans together. But the wait hasn’t been worthwhile. Aishwarya looks fat and blotchy. She is better suited for Dhoom or Jodha-Akbar kind of roles. I think Priyanka Chopra could have projected the ruthless business-woman-with-a-heart-of-gold with finesse.
Abhishek Bachchan looked like he was stooping under the burden of carrying the picture on his lone shoulders. He failed in the role of a young and overconfident Don prodigy. The whole background of Enron and Shankar Nagre’s( Abhishek Bachchan) passion to work for the betterment of Maharashtra looks flimsy and unconvincing. The story should have been on the personal struggle of Nagre family to control the Sarkar ( government), rather than making them martyrs.
Amitabh Bachchan should have learned by now that speaking in nasal tone doesn’t necessarily makes for good acting.
The music: The lesser I say the better. Sarkar had an impressive background score which was used at proper places. Where as in Sarkar Raj, the music is very loud and lousy, not at all worth mentioning.
My rating for Sarkar Raj is 2 out of 10

Linkworth is Worthless

June 8th, 2008

Linkworth is a site that pay bloggers and site owners for putting text links in the posts and also for writing sponsored posts. The site’s navigation is very confusing. It was worse before. They have changed the template and one can find their way around dashboard with some ease. But bloggers and publishers are still complaining about the usage of different options. There is a lot of terminology, without any clear definition or meaning. If you want to put text link ads on your site, you have to select from linksura and linkmura. Then there is another option, inlinktext. Which is used for putting keyword links on your site.
The sponsored post are very few and worse thing is that what ever you make, linkworth takes 50% from that. Most of the sites pay you for post review every two weeks or after thirty days. But Linkworth requires that you earn a minimum of $ 25, before being eligible for pay out. I have $15 waiting in my dashboard for the last two months and I see a post opportunity very rarely.
Linkworth has another concept which is different from other sites; it offers to display your blog on the login homepage for a fee. When you pay that fee, you become a featured partner. So a blogger has to advertise his blog in order to get work or link contract from advertisers. So its proved that earth is round, right!

A New way to Advertise Your Products

June 2nd, 2008

There is a site called buzzshed, which pays its members when for watching videos. Its a good way to earn some extra bucks without much effort.
How buzzshed can help you to advertise your product: The site sends e-mail to a select set of audience. This e-mail has the link to your video, the viewer watches your video and gets paid and you get a large number of audience. So its a win-win situation for both the advertiser and viewer. Moreover the  advertiser’s video  remains on the site indefinitely, so  the  advertiser will be getting free promotion even after he has  spent his  fund. As the video will be there for  viewers to browse through.
